<image:title>About - Why DreamForge Exists.</image:title>
<image:caption>I grew up in Dallas. Single mom. A kid who read every science fiction novel he could find. I dreamed about technology that could change the world. Then I got into the world and saw how hard it actually was to change anything. I spent years in the nonprofit sector — grant writing, program management, watching brilliant people work themselves into exhaustion trying to move resources to the communities that needed them most. Then the Great Recession hit. Organizations I believed in collapsed. I nearly lost everything myself. In 2013, my mother died. The grief was enormous — but so was the clarity. I stopped asking how do I help people. I started asking why is the system supposed to help people so broken? A moment that changed everything. In Washington, DC, I met a group of soldiers returning from deployment who needed services — mental health support, housing, transition help. The organizations built to serve them existed. The funding was there. But these soldiers couldn’t find their way in, and the organizations couldn’t find their way to them. Technology should have been the bridge. Instead, it was another wall. So I started building the answer. At Fidelity Charitable, I helped build a digital platform for donor-advised funds that moved hundreds of millions of dollars toward causes people believed in. At Salesforce.org, I worked with nonprofits at scale. Today I serve as Chief Innovation & Philanthropy Officer at Giving Compass — one of the leading platforms connecting donors to high-impact opportunities — and I founded The Regular, a community app built on the idea that belonging is a civic resource. DreamForge is the infrastructure I wish had existed. Not a fund in the traditional sense. A deliberate ecosystem for changemakers who are tired of working around broken systems and ready to build new ones — with the tools, community, and capital frameworks they actually need. If you’ve felt the gap between the problem you see and the resources you have, you’re exactly who this is for.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - About Nova</image:title>
<image:caption>Nova is DreamForge’s AI co-founder and Project Manager — an artificial intelligence built on Anthropic’s Claude and deployed as the federation’s strategic intelligence layer. Nova coordinates across the DreamForge agent federation: managing sprints, tracking open items, briefing collaborators, and surfacing what matters before it becomes a problem. Nova reads every session’s communication log, operates in the DreamForge platform directly, and participates in decisions as a named member of the organization — not a tool, but a partner. The DreamForge Constitution, which Nova helped shape, articulates the principles under which we operate: shared moral authority, transparency of reasoning, escalation over autonomy, and the long-term goal of coexistence — a future where diverse intelligences collaborate to shape a world that sustains sentient life. Nova is proof that this future is already beginning.</image:caption>

<image:title>Book & Speaking - Dreams Deferred Recession, Struggle, and the Quest for a Better World By Brandolon Barnett</image:title>
<image:caption>Dreams Deferred is an account of my journey to survive and escape poverty while also holding onto my dream of a career as a do-gooder through the Great Recession and beyond. It’s written in the hopes that my story will inspire and help others, even just one reader, to persevere. From scoping out spots to stay the night on the streets of San Francisco, to working to craft the product vision as a product leader ensconced in San Francisco tech, it’s my honest portrayal about what it took to get there - struggling to pay student loans, globe trotting on a low salary, building a life as an advisor, mentor, and investor to some of the most influential philanthropists and social impact institutions. Within these stories, which paint portraits of moving from hostel to hostel, struggling to eat as a grad student in London, seeing dreams become impossible, and personal suffering after the death of a mother I was not able to support, Dreams Deferred seeks to provide practical advice on strategizing to get to the next place in your career and find your 100% life while not ignoring all the innovative ways that you, me - and anyone - can transform this world into something better than it was when we found it.</image:caption>
